We hope your summer is going well, our summer at enVgrow has been very eventful and we are excited to share some updates with you!
First and foremost, the unveiling of enVgrow, our cannabis focused division. enVgrow concentrates on bringing the newest, most innovative technology to the cannabis industry. We are happy to assist with the development, design, installation, and commissioning of CO2 gas enrichment systems including all fire and life safety codes. Official launch in July.
With the launch of enVgrow, we have added two new members to our growing team!
We are excited to introduce Darin Meny, who will preside as enVgrow’s Director of Business Development, utilizing his twenty-five years of experience within the construction industry working with owners, architects, and engineers. Darin has a unique perspective when it comes to growing a small business in the construction setting. Before enVgrow, he started and owned a highly successful construction company dealing heavily with integrated architectural restoration projects. As we position ourselves in the cannabis marketplace, Darin’s experience with construction best practices will highlight the innovation taking place in Denver at enVgrow headquarters.
The team at enVgrow is also delighted to have Derek Czysz joining our engineering crew, as an applications engineer assisting in the ongoing research and development of enVgrow’s control systems. With a background in computer science, and extensive experience in industrial automation, Derek has a truly remarkable skill set. While working in industrial automation, he designed, assembled, and tested this technology. Aligned with our company’s mission of bringing the safest, and most technologically advanced systems to the cannabis industry, we are lucky to have Derek’s expertise to help deliver our promise.
As for our projects, we just finished a state-of-the-art cultivation facility in Holliston, Massachusetts. Equipped with an intelligent CO2 delivery system and life safety monitoring, this facility is as safe as it is efficient. With the enVgrow system, growers can enjoy an easy-to-use central dashboard where they can view and change the different components in their garden while present at the facility or remotely, from anywhere they want. We are thrilled to see this facility commissioned, and operating safely and successfully.
enVgrow recently finished installing and commissioning our fire and life safety monitoring system in an industrial extraction laboratory in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. In addition to fire and life safety monitoring, our client requested we automate all components in the lab, to eliminate human error as much as possible. The automated hardware includes pumps, VFDs, valves, separators and motors driving the extraction equipment. By automating this process, not only is the risk for human error considerably reduced, but so is the cost to operate. We assisted with the lab design to ensure safety was a top priority from conceptualization to completion.
Lastly, we are hosting a lunch and learn series in the North East, the first two weeks of August! We are encouraging architects, MEP engineering firms, and construction professionals on the East Coast to join us in:
- Reviewing gas enrichment systems including all fire and life safety codes
- Offering guidance on proper facility specifications
- Discussing the various Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)
- Examining common commissioning issues in grow facilities
- Demonstrating how to keep your facility safe and compliant
- Lowering the cost of production while increasing yield
